Combining the splish with the splash
Shower and bath combination in a new Mackay home.
A really good bathroom innovation in a new home we are handing over in Mackay this week is the shower/bath combo. It’s not like the old school shower over the bath idea but side-by-side with a glass screen separating the shower and bath from the rest of the bathroom.
So if you just want a shower, you just step into the shower - no need to climb into a bathtub. But, if you want to run the kids through the bath, you don’t have to worry about them splashing water everwhere because there is still a glass screen - about a shower-width away - and there is a drain all along the floor beside the bath.
Genius.
This bathroom is part of a slightly modified version of our Ali design, which is our current display. The Ali has been so popular that there are lots to new homes in Mackay based on the design. The beauty of basing your new home design on the Ali is you know that it works, especially in Mackay’s climate, but you still have the opportunity to make modifications to suit your lifestyle and your own style.
Shower drain doubles as a drain for any “oversplash” the kids may cause in the bath.
